would be the recording until the first stop, and &#8216;zoom_1&#8217; would be the recording after the first stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/l8quOahmeOya6mknYRMxWdKIOswirz3HrywdS0kkwCzZ9wmMSg07pSvWpU9BjjSOCqUX6OvZbv2WBA7s_ojX4Y7_gV96YIgP_y3nQcXaTo3LOXWQzXf04DqLarMenHB1L_YXbO7n\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Computer<\/strong><br>Before you start to record video, make sure to have <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/larryjordan.com\/articles\/why-is-my-hard-disk-so-slow\/\" target=\"_blank\">20% free on the hard drive <\/a>. Delete or offload old pictures and other files to an external hard drive.<br>Sometimes when an old computer is running slowly, it\u2019s because of unnecessary apps or other old cruft that has built up over years of use. You could use a free app like <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.malwarebytes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Malwarebytes<\/a> to make sure that adware and viruses aren\u2019t the reasons your<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/thewirecutter.com\/blog\/best-antivirus\/\" target=\"_blank\"> laptop is running slow.<\/a><br>An even better option is to save the documents and files you want to an external drive and then <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/thewirecutter.com\/blog\/buy-revive-laptop-for-kid\/\" target=\"_blank\">reinstall Windows<\/a> or <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT204904\" target=\"_blank\">Mac OSX<\/a> from scratch. This doesn\u2019t cost anything, and it can make your computer run more like it did when it was new.<br>There are also some inexpensive hardware upgrades you could consider. If your computer uses a hard disk, a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/thewirecutter.com\/reviews\/best-ssds\/\" target=\"_blank\">solid-state drive (or SSD)<\/a> can dramatically boost your speed.<br>Unlike a hard disk, an SSD has no moving parts, making it faster to load files and apps. It will also be quieter and less likely to fail. Expect to pay around $60 for an SSD with 500 gigabytes, which should be more than large enough for Windows or Mac OSX as well as your files, apps and games.<br>Upgrade your computer\u2019s memory (RAM), especially if you have 4 gigabytes or less. More RAM is especially helpful if your computer is slow to switch between multiple apps or browser tabs, or if it slows down noticeably as you open more apps at once.<br>Some computers\u2019 storage or memory can\u2019t be upgraded; the memory and SSD manufacturer Crucial has <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.crucial.com\/upgrades?cm_re=top-nav-_-flyout-upgrade-_-us-upgrade-device\" target=\"_blank\">a comprehensive upgrade adviser page <\/a>that can tell you whether your computer can be upgraded and what kind of parts it will need.<br>Don\u2019t spend more than $100 or $150 on new parts, especially if your computer is more than four or five years old. Consider saving that money toward a new system instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Internet connection<\/strong><br>There is a direct link between video quality and bandwidth. You want to get the best possible connection to the internet. The internet connection speed also affects audio sync.<br>The best choice is wired internet; a computer or laptop connected to the internet using an ethernet cable. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Cat-Ethernet-Cable-White-Connectors\/dp\/B00WD017GQ\" target=\"_blank\">Like this one:<\/a><br>YouTube, Zoom and Skype recommend at least 20 Mbps (up\/down) for high quality video.<br>Please check your Internet bandwidth using an online speed test, such as<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nperf.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">&nbsp;nperf<\/a>,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.speedtest.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Speedtest<\/a>, or<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/compari.tech\/speed\" target=\"_blank\">&nbsp;Comparitech<br><\/a>-Try to connect directly via Wired (if your internet router has wired ports)<br>For an Imac or Mac laptop you\u2019ll need one of these adapters:<br><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/shop\/product\/MD463LL\/A\/thunderbolt-to-gigabit-ethernet-adapter\" target=\"_blank\">Thunderbolt 2, Imacs &amp; laptops 2015 and earlier:<\/a><\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/shop\/product\/HJKF2ZM\/A\/belkin-usb-c-to-gigabit-ethernet-adapter\" target=\"_blank\"><br><strong>Thunderbolt 3 Imacs &amp; laptops 2016-today<\/strong><\/a><br>For most PC\u2019s if they don\u2019t already have an Ethernet port <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/AmazonBasics-1000-Gigabit-Ethernet-Adapter\/dp\/B00M77HMU0\/\" target=\"_blank\">this adapter works well.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After you\u2019ve connected a cable make sure you turn WIFI off!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If it\u2019s not possible to connect wired:<br><\/strong>-Try bringing your computer or mobile device closer to the WiFi router or access point&nbsp; in your home or office.<br>-Upgrade your WiFI router firmware.
