Import all footage using the Media Browser<br \/>\n2. Organize bins\u00a0by day\/location, put all camera + audio-files-to-be-synced in same bin.<br \/>\n3. <a href=\"http:\/\/premierepro.net\/editing\/audio-syncing\/\" target=\"_blank\">Learn\u00a0multi cam syncing<br \/>\n<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-534\" src=\"http:\/\/editspecialists.com\/pr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/multi-settings.png\" alt=\"multi-settings\" width=\"341\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/editspecialists.com\/pr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/multi-settings.png 405w, https:\/\/editspecialists.com\/pr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/multi-settings-203x300.png 203w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 341px) 100vw, 341px\" \/><br \/>\n4. Open up a bin, Double click some files from both camera\u2019s and explore which audio track is the best match. This might not always be lav or boom, sometimes the cam mic on 3&amp;4 gives a better match.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0Select all clips in the bin, right-click and \u201ccreate multi cam source seq\u201d<br \/>\n6. Set name to Custom and copy\/paste the first bin name in top box<br \/>\n7.\u00a0Synchronize using Audio&gt; choose the track explored in step 4<br \/>\n8. Leave defaults\u00a0except Audio channels &gt; Mono<br \/>\n9. click ok and let it process. After Processing check if the <a href=\"http:\/\/editspecialists.com\/pr\/index.php\/optimize\/\" target=\"_blank\">media settings match sequence settings<\/a>, if not correct!<br \/>\n10. <strong>If bin is empty<\/strong>, repeat with\u00a0next bin from step\u00a04<br \/>\n<strong>If \u00a0most multi cam clips are processed<\/strong>\u00a0but there are a few left-over clips that couldn\u2019t be synchronized<br \/>\n-Right-click the multi cam clip and \u201copen in Timeline\u201d&gt;add the left over clips to the end. (they are usually single shots of one cam when the other wasn&#8217;t rolling)<br \/>\n<strong>If no, or too few matches where found<\/strong>, go back to \u00a0step 4 and explore the audio channels again to figure out what will possibly give a better match. Or use Timecode or Inpoint syncing.<br \/>\nchoose that channel or \u201cMIX\u201d in step 7.<br \/>\n11. Repeat until all bins from step 2 are made into multi-clips, double check or rename the clips if necessary.<br \/>\n12. If you want to divide long multi-clips into shorter scenes, duplicate the clip, rename it to reflect the scene, \u201copen in Timeline\u201d and remove all footage that doesn\u2019t belong.<br \/>\nThe result of all this organizing should be multi-cam clips that have a descriptive name for one location\/scene that will be used as the master clips to edit.<br \/>\nAudio tip: move the usable channels all on the same track and mute the others for easier editing.<br \/>\n<strong>WARNING <\/strong>You can only organize the multi-clips before editing, if you do it when multi-clips are used in sequences, the sequences will change.
